Panzer-Division Kempf

The armored unit Prussia / Panzer Division Kempf was an improvised mixed force of the Army of the Wehrmacht and the SS Verfügungstruppe in World War II, which was specially designed for the Polish campaign. History

Since no budget moderately armored unit was in the exclave of East Prussia comprehensive military district I, the formation of an improvised armored Association was provided in the planning for "Fall Weiss ". To this end, the rod and an armored regiment of the peacetime stationed in Stuttgart 4th Armoured Brigade were used under Major General Werner Kempf.
