History

Pap and its surroundings were already inhabited during the Bronze Age, as evidenced by archaeological finds. The name Terra Pop is already in documents from the time of King Ladislaus IV - to find ( 1272 1290 ). In 1435 the present name was used in a document of the manuscript collection of Zsely already. 1458, the family acquired Várday the place.
