Pape Omar Faye

Pape Omar Fayé ( born January 1, 1987 in Louga ) is a former Senegalese football player, who played in Switzerland from 2005 to 2009.

Career

The prolific striker was initially at the clubs CSS Richard -Toll (Senegal) and Coton Sport Garoua (Cameroon) under contract. In 2005 Fayé signed the then Axpo Super League club FC Thun, where it was used for one season. For the season 2006/ 07, the young Senegalese temporarily changed for a year to FC Vaduz. In Liechtenstein club he scored twelve goals in 33 League game missions and played four UEFA Cup Qualifiers ( 2 goals).

2007 returned the U-21 national team of Senegal back to the Bernese Oberland. With the Thunern he rose at the end of a difficult season for the club in 2007/ 08 in the Challenge League from.
