Paprika Steen
Paprika Steen, civil Kristine Steen ( born November 3, 1964 in Frederiksberg, Denmark) is a Danish actress and film director.
Life
The daughter of actress Avi Sagild and musician Niels Jørgen Steen worked after the completion of her acting training at the Odense Teaterskole first as a theater actress (including Det Kongelige Teater in Copenhagen) and appeared in several television films.
In Germany it was mainly for her roles in several Dogme films like The Idiots, Mifune - Dogma III, The Festival and Open Hearts known. In addition, you can see them regularly in the ZDF detective series The Inspector and the Sea as the wife of Commissioner Anders illustrated by Walter Sittler. In addition to the Baltic Film Award for her directorial debut Suffer the Children ( 2004), she received several other awards, including three times to the Danish Bodil Award and four times the Robert the Danish Film Academy.
