Paquillo Fernández

Francisco Javier Fernández, nicknamed Paquillo Fernández ( born March 3, 1977 in Guadix ) is a Spanish -goers.

Life

The Junior World Champion in 1996 won the 1998 bronze medal in the 20 km walk at the European Championships. At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 he finished seventh over 20 km, and at the European Championships in Munich in 2002, he won gold over the same distance.

In both the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis as well as in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki, he won the silver medal.

At Euro 2006, he defended his title, and at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, he took another silver medal. In 2008 he was at the Olympic Games in Beijing in seventh at the World Championships a year later in Berlin he left.

In November 2009, the Spanish police smashed a drug ring and also found a doping agent in Fernández. He confessed and was banned for two years.

Francisco Javier Fernández has a competition weight of 65 kilograms with a height of 1.75 meters.
