Paraguay men's national volleyball team

Paraguay's national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Paraguayan players, the Federación de Paraguaya Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

In the only previous participation in a volleyball World Cup Paraguay finished 1960 ranked twelfth.

Olympic games

Paraguay has never qualified for the Olympics.

South American Championship

In the volleyball World Grand Prix 1956, the Paraguayans were third. Two years later they had to only the hosts Brazil defeated. After two fourth places they were fifth in 1967 and 1971 gave it only the seventh rank. In the tournaments in 1975 and 1977, she finished fifth again and in 1979 they won their third medal in third. In 1981, she occupied the sixth place. From 1987 to 2007, they were always there and the results ranged from rank four and nine.

World Cup

In the World Cup, Paraguay has not been played.

World League

The World League was previously held without Paraguayan participation.
