Paraguay women's national volleyball team

Paraguay's national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Paraguayan players, the Federación de Paraguaya Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

In the only previous participation in a volleyball World Cup Paraguay finished 1982 ranked ninth.

Olympic games

Paraguay has never qualified for the Olympics.

South American Championship

After two fourth places in 1956 and 1958, the Paraguayan women had just defeated Peru in 1964 and, three years later, a third party. After another fourth place in 1971 they were in 1975 as host fifth. For the next eight tournaments they fluctuated between fourth and six, in 1985 they were not there. From eighth place in 1995, they increased in 1999 and 2001 again to sixth place. In the championship in 2007, they were eighth.

World Cup

In the World Cup, Paraguay has not been played.

World Grand Prix

Even the World Grand Prix was previously held without Paraguayan participation.
