Páramo is a municipality in the Santander Department in Colombia.

The town was founded in 1768 in the Andean region, its name comes from the founder Juan Neponucemo Páramo. The distance to the nearest major city Bucaramanga is about 117 km. The average temperature is about 19-22 ° C.

The municipality has 3671 inhabitants (2005 ).

PARAMI borders the following municipalities: to the north of San Gil and Pinchote, in the West Socorro and confines, to the south and east Charala Valle de San José and Ocamonte.
