Paris (band)

Paris was an American rock band that was formed in 1975 by guitarist and singer Bob Welch, after he left Fleetwood Mac. Other members of the trio were bassist Glenn Cornick Power, formerly with Jethro Tull, and drummer Thom Mooney, formerly with Todd Rundgren at Nazz.

The group released two albums with Capitol Records. The big success was, however, and the band broke up again in 1977 on. After the first album Mooney was replaced by Hunt Sales, who had also played with Rundgren together. A planned third album did not come off, Welch used the material for his first solo album French Kiss (1977).
