Park Ji-won

Bak Ji-won (* February 5, 1737, † October 20, 1805, listed as Park Ji -Won ) was a Korean politician and economist.

Life

He is regarded as satirical writer, artist, poet of the Joseon Dynasty with a neo-Confucian and mercantilist philosophy and mindset. He was a member of the party Noron ( 노론 ,老 论). His nickname was Yeonam ( 연암 ,燕岩) or Yeonsang ( 연상 ,烟 湘).
