Park Sung-hyun

Park Sung -hyun (born 1 January 1983) is a South Korean archer. She is three-time world champion with the team and won a world championship gold medal in singles. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she won the gold medal in both the individual as well as with the team. In the Summer Olympics 2008, she successfully defended the title with the team.

Career

Park Sung -hyun took in 2001 in Beijing for the first time at a World Cup and won with their debut equal to the singles title and also finished third in the team. Two years later, when taking place in New York City Championship, they just missed out on defending his title and won the silver medal in singles. The team is able to improve Park Sung- hyun and win the title. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens was Park Sung -hyun double Olympic champion when she won both the individual and the team competition.

After the Olympic Games in 2004 was followed by further world titles with the team that they won in Madrid and Leipzig. In Madrid, she was also third in the individual, in Leipzig, she won silver in the individual competition. In 2007, Park Sung -hyun was also able to secure two World Cup wins with the team in Antalya and Ulsan.
