Parma Heights is a city in Cuyahoga County in the U.S. state of Ohio. Lies 14 kilometers southwest of Cleveland, on the road to Columbus, is 4.2 square miles ( 10.88 km ²) in size and had (2000) 21,659 inhabitants, of which 94.8 % White.

The city area is just east of West 130th Street and extends to both sides of U.S. Route 42, the road from Cleveland to Columbus. Neighboring municipalities are Brook Park and Middleburg Heights to the west and Parma on the other three sides.

Parma Heights is predominantly residential. Along the main street there are numerous office and retail buildings. As a recreational area, a woodland is on Big Creek, which is part of the Cleveland Metroparks.

Parma Heights goes back to the Parma Township, which had been marked out as part of the land surveys of the Connecticut Western Reserve. The first settlers arrived in 1816; 1911, the western part of the township was founded under the name of Parma Heights. Despite its proximity to Cleveland Heights Parma remained rural in character until well into the 20th century. Only after the Second World War, strong population growth; the number of inhabitants increased from (1940 ) 1330 to (1960 ) and reached 18,100 in 1970 with 27 192 population peaked. By 1990, the population went back to today's value.
