Parras de la Fuente is a city in the south of the Mexican state of Coahuila with 33,817 inhabitants and the administrative seat of the municipality of Parras. In the city there are many factories that produce jeans fabric. Since 2004, the city is also officially a Pueblo Mágico.

History

Parras de la Fuente was founded in 1598. 1846 Parras was occupied during the Mexican- American War by the Americans. The place is known for its wines, the summer wine festival and a built on a high rock church, which overlooks the town.
