Pascal Bonitzer
Pascal Bonitzer ( born February 1, 1946 in Paris ) is a French screenwriter and film director.
Life
Bonitzer was first editor and critic for the magazine Les Cahiers du cinéma. In 1976 he wrote his first screenplay, as he had come upon the historical case Pierre Rivière. Subsequently, he was repeatedly co-authored by Jacques Rivette. 1996 Bonitzer won with his first film, the Prix Jean Vigo Encore.
Bonitzer and French screenwriter and film director Sophie Fillières are the parents of actress Agathe Bonitzer.
