Passionada is an American movie from 2002 with the main actors Sofia Milos and Jason Isaacs.
Action
The attractive widow Celia Amonte, whose husband, Joseph, was killed a few years ago on the sea, has seen no other man more since the tragic death of her husband. Together with her daughter Vicky, she lives in New Bedford. She earns her living as a seamstress in a garment factory and as a fado singer.
Her daughter Vicky has, however, made against the will of the mother, firmly, again to find a man for her mother. A suitable candidate in their opinion, is the impassioned blackjack player Charles Beck, the Vicky has met in a casino. When he sees her for the first time, Charles is immediately impressed by the charisma of the attractive widow.
