Patrick Lloyd " Pat" Daley ( born March 27, 1959 in Marville ) is a former Canadian- French ice hockey player who has played in its active period from 1975 to 1994, including for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League.

Career

Born in France, Patrick Daley grew up in Canada and began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, where he was active until 1979 from 1975 for National de Laval and Junior de Montréal. He was then in the fourth round as a total of 82 players selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1979 by the Winnipeg Jets, for whom he scored in the following two seasons winning goal in twelve games in the National Hockey League. Mainly, however, the defender came to inserts for their farm team of the Central Hockey League, the Tulsa Oilers. After a year at the Fredericton Express of the American Hockey League, the links Sagittarius 1982 returned to his native France, where he spent with the ASG Tours in Ligue Magnus the next three years.

In the summer of 1985, Daley was given a contract with the Français ruffles, with which he was runner-up respectively in the following two years. Subsequently, the former NHL player spent one season with the HC Gap before he 76 was 1988-1991 Rouen Hockey Élite on the ice, with whom he became the first and only time in his career, French Champion in the 1989/90 season. In the following season, the Frenchman was a Canadian passport with Rouen runner-up.

After two years break Patrick Daley ended his career, for which he in the 1993/94 season in 25 games nine scorer points, including five goals scored in Brest Albatros hockey at the age of 35 years.

Internationally

For Canada Daley took part in the U20 World Youth Championship 1978, where he won the bronze medal with his team. After his return to France he decided at senior level for the French national team aground and entered for this at B at the World Championships in 1986 and 1987.
