Patnagarh is a town in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the main town in the same subdivision and tehsil of the same name in the district of Balangir. In Patnagarh lived 18,685 inhabitants ( 2001).

In the mid-14th century Ramai Deva established the Chauhan rule in Westorissa and made Patnagarh the capital of the Kingdom of Patna.
