Patrice Killoffer

Patrice Killoffer ( born June 16, 1966 in Lorraine ), called Killoffer, is a French cartoonist and illustrator.

Life and work

Patrice Killoffer was born in France in 1966. In 1981 he began drawing comics and later attended a comic course at the School of Applied Arts in Paris. Together with Lewis Trondheim, Stanislas, Jean-Christophe Menu, David B. and Mattt Konture 1990 he founded the French author publisher L'Association.

With his colleagues from L'Association organized Killoffer in 2000 a major exhibition at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d' Angoulême and brought out the anthology Comix 2000.

He published his stories in the magazine Lapin at L'Association, but also for the French publisher Seuil. In collaboration with Joann Sfar and Lewis Trondheim, he designed an album in the series Donjon Monsters for Delcourt. Besides working on his comics has Killoffer by his many illustrations for newspapers, especially for Libération, made ​​a name.
