Patricio Almonacid

Patricio Almonacid Javier González ( born September 11, 1979 in Puerto Montt ) is a Chilean road racing cyclist.

Patricio Almonacid 2003 could decide the overall ranking of the Vuelta de Chile Laboral for themselves. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he started in the road race and drove there for a long time along with Horacio Gallardo as outliers. The next year Almonacid won the Vuelta de la Leche and he was runner-up in the Chilean road race behind the winner José Aravena. At the Tour de l' Amitié de Tahiti, he won four stages and finished third overall. In the 2011 season he won a stage of the Vuelta de la Leche and so could the Appreciation decide for themselves. He was also the national runner-up in the time trial. In 2012 he won with his team Clos de Pirque Trek the team time trial of the Vuelta Ciclista de Chile and won another stage, as well as the overall title there. In 2013 Almonacid won a stage at the Vuelta de la Leche and at the Vuelta a Mendoza each.
