Patrick Bussler

Patrick Bussler ( born June 1, 1984 in Munich) is a German snowboarder.

Patrick Bussler comes from Aschheim and starts for the resident club FC Aschheim. Patrick has two brothers with whom he drives from child to sport. He began, like his brothers, alpine skiing, but moved at the age of ten years to snowboard. In 1999 he played his first FIS races and early 2000 was followed by his first assignment in the European Cup. At the German Championships this year he managed the jump to third place in the giant slalom for the first time on the podium. At 17, he was accepted into the National Youth Squad and the first top - ten finishes in FIS races in the European Cup and followed. In early 2001, he started for the first time in the World Cup and finished in a parallel slalom in Berchtesgaden the 56th place. 2002 was followed by his first Junior World Championships in Rovaniemi, where a 11th place in the parallel giant slalom was the best placement. The next major event was the Snowboard World Championships 2003 at Kreischberg with number 32 did not run so well in the parallel slalom.
