Patrick Cazal

Patrick Cazal ( born April 6, 1971 in Saint -Joseph, Réunion ) is a French handball coach and a former handball player. He is 1.85 m tall and weighs 90 kg.

After moving to the French mainland Cazal got his first professional contract with Paris - Asnières. Soon moved to the back player for Montpellier HB series champion, where he was in 1995, 1998 and 1999 French champion and 1999 won the French Cup. In the same year he moved to the Spanish league ASOBAL to Bidasoa Irun. But with the Basques, he was unsuccessful, so he moved to the German 1st Handball Bundesliga 2002 TUSEM food. Here he won the 2005 EHF Cup, but returned to the relegation of his club back to France, where he end his career at Dunkirk HBGL. After Cazal 2008, his career ended, he was assistant coach of Dunkerque HBGL. In 2011 he took over as coach of Dunkerque HBGL.

Patrick Cazal has played 171 international matches for the French men's national handball team. 1995 and 2001 he was World Champion with France; 1997 and 2003 he won the World Cup bronze.
