Patrik Klüft

Patrik Arne Kluft ( born June 3, 1977 in Gothenburg as Patrik Kristiansson Arne ) is a former Swedish pole vaulter.

At the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004, he failed in each of the qualification. At the European Indoor Championships 2002, he won silver with 5.75m, the same height as the winner Tim Lobinger. At the European Championships in 2002 he finished fourth. Also in 2002, he set his personal best of 5.85 m with damaligem Swedish record. He repeated this performance when he jumped 5.85 meters at the World Championships in Paris in 2003 to bronze.

Kristiansson was in 1998 and 2001 to 2003 Swedish champion. He was on 16 January 2008 announced his retirement.

At a height of 1.92 m his competition weight was 83 kg. His wife is the heptathlete Carolina Kluft.
