Paul Donoghue

Paul Donoghue SM ( born January 18, 1949 in Auckland ) is Bishop of Rarotonga.

Life

Paul Donoghue joined the Congregation of the Marist Fathers in, put the profession on January 7, 1969, received on 29 June 1975, the ordination.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 11 April 2011 as Bishop of Rarotonga.

He received his episcopal consecration of Bishop Emeritus of Rarotonga, Stuart France O'Connell SM, on 16 July of the same year; Co-consecrators were Charles Daniel Balvo, Apostolic Nuncio to New Zealand and Federated States of Micronesia, and Denis George Browne, Bishop of Hamilton in New Zealand.
