Paul England

Paul England ( born March 28, 1929 in Melbourne ) is an Australian former racing driver.

Paul England worked in the 1950s at the Australian spare parts and engine company Repco and drove in his spare time auto racing. His race car, the Australians had built himself. His sports car was based on a Maserati A6GCS body and had a Holden engine.

1957 drove England the Grand Prix of Germany at the Nürburgring. The Cooper T41 was reported by Ridgeway management and England had the race after a suspension failure to retire.

After his racing career, England opened an engineering office, Paul England & Staff, which is now run by his eldest daughter. England still lives in Australia and is now nine-time grandfather.
