Paul-Henri Campbell

Paul -Henri Campbell ( b. 1982 in Boston, Massachusetts ) is a German -American author.

Paul -Henri Campbell is a bilingual author and writes poetry and prose both in English and German language. He studied Classical Philology ( Greek) and Catholic Theology at the National University of Ireland and the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. In his work he seeks mythologies of the present. His prose he describes as mythical realism. He has written numerous articles in German and international literary magazines published (eg clearings, World Literature Today, Hessian Literaturbote designs, Cordite Poetry Review, THE POEM ).

Life

Paul -Henri Campbell is the son of a U.S. Army officer and a German nurse. He grew up in Massachusetts and later moved with his parents to Germany, where he obtained a high school in Bavaria. Since his birth, he has a serious heart defect and he has been wearing his 24th year with a pacemaker. Campbell is currently working on a dissertation in fundamental theology at the College of the Jesuits, Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt am Main.

Work

In addition to essays and narrative prose Campbell mainly written poetry. His poems deal in scenic images Mythologies. Here he is, both in the tradition of the thing and in the poem of symbolism.
