Paul Hisao Yasuda

Paul Hisao Yasuda (Japaneseパウロ 安田 久雄, Pauro Hisao Yasuda; born December 20, 1921 in Kurume ) is Archbishop Emeritus of Osaka.

Life

Paul Hisao Yasuda received on 21 May 1955, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him auxiliary bishop on February 5, 1970 in Osaka and Titular Bishop of Tucci. The Apostolic Pro- Nuncio to Japan Bruno Desert Mountain donated to him on 21 March of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Paul Yoshigoro Taguchi, Archbishop of Osaka, and Paul Yoshiyuki Furuya, Bishop of Kyoto.

He was appointed on 15 November 1978 Archbishop of Osaka. On May 10, 1997 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
