Paul Schwarz

Paul Black ( born November 19, 1867 in Neisse, † December 28, 1938 in Torgau ) was a German Orientalist, who taught at the University of Leipzig.

1893 was the PhD. in Oriental Languages ​​at the University of Leipzig in Albert Socin, 1896 there habilitation of Oriental Languages ​​with a thesis: Iran in the Middle Ages by Arab geographers. From 1896 to 1903 Black was a lecturer of Oriental Languages ​​at the University of Leipzig from 1903 to 1937 there is not scheduled an associate professor of oriental languages.
