Paul Weitz (filmmaker)
Paul John Weitz ( born November 19, 1965 in New York City ) is an American screenwriter, director and film producer. He is the older brother of Chris Weitz.
Biography
Paul Weitz was born in 1966 in New York. In his later career choice, he followed the example of his maternal grandparents, who both worked in the film industry. A native of Mexico Lupita Tovar grandmother as a film actress and a native of the then Austro-Hungarian Teplice grandfather Paul Kohner as a film producer, screenwriter and director agent such greats like John Huston, Billy Wilder and Ingmar Bergman. Even Paul Weitz's mother Susan Kohner is a film actress. His father John Weitz is active as an author and fashion designer.
