Paweł Kieszek

Paweł Kieszek ( born April 16, 1984 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish football goalkeeper who is under contract with the Portuguese club Vitória Setúbal since the 2012/13 season.

Career

Paweł Kieszek began his professional career at Polonia Warsaw in 2003., Where he was most of the time only a reservist. In 2006 he was awarded for the Greek club AO Egaleo Athens, where he stood eight games in goal. When he returned, Polonia was relegated to the second division. He completed only a few games when he incurred an injury and failed the rest of the season. In total, he completed 25 games for Polonia. In 2007 he moved free transfer to the Portuguese Sporting Braga. He made his debut on 21 February 2008 at the Europa League game against Werder Bremen. His first game in the league followed three days later in a 1-1 draw against Benfica.

In January 2009 he was awarded for the rest of the season at Vitória Setúbal, where he played ten games in goal. The 2009/10 season was not very successful for Kieszek. He completed only three games in which he conceded four goals.

On 2 July 2010, he moved to league rivals FC Porto, where he signed a four - year contract. With Porto he won the Portuguese Championship 2010/11, the Portuguese Cup 2010/11 as well as the UEFA Europa League 2010/11.

For the 2011/12 season he was loaned to Dutch club Roda JC Kerkrade. After 25 league inserts Kieszek returned to Porto. Where, however, he broke up his contract and a two -year contract with Vitória Setúbal signed.
