Northeast wall of Pobeda

The Pobeda (Russian Победа, also Gora Pobeda; " mountain of victory" ) is with 3147 meters the highest mountain in the Tscherskigebirges in Northeast Russia and Eastern Siberia.

The mountain is located about 180 km northeast of the settlement of Ust- Nera and almost 140 km south of the Arctic Circle. It was first climbed in 1966 by a group under W. M. Afanasyev from Yakutsk on the northwestern flank.
