Pedro Flores (inventor)

Pedro Flores ( born April 26, 1896 in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, † January 1964 in Coshocton County, Ohio, United States) was a Filipino entrepreneurs.

Life

1915 Flores came as immigrants to the United States. He brought his yo-yo and founded in 1928 a company of that name for the production of Yo -yos. Flores sold his company to Donald F. Duncan. In the 30s he left Duncan, founded the Bandalore Company and produced again own yo-yos. After the Second World War he built the Chico Yo- Yo Company on with Joe Radovan.

In Chico, California today is the National Yo- Yo Museum. Pedro Flores is considered the first yo-yo guru.
