Pedro Ximénez

Pedro Ximénez [ peðɾo ximeneθ ] is a Spanish white grape, grapes reach their very high glucose levels (→ Most weight); with it the Cream Sherry is well-rounded. It is also known under the name PX, Pedro, Pedro Jiménez, Pedro Ximen, Ximen and Alami. It is grown mainly in Andalusia and is next to Palomino 's second most important variety for Sherry. She is also part of the Malaga wine. Pedro Ximénez is a variety of the noble vine (Vitis vinifera ). It has hermaphrodite flowers and is thus self- fruiting. It is alleged that the name of the Pedro Ximénez is derived from a Spanish soldier of the 17th century, is said to have brought from the Netherlands to Spain. Another reading is that according to R.
