The Pelican Lake is a lake in Otter Tail County in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

The lake is located between the two small towns in the northeast of Detroit Lakes and Pelican Rapids in the south. It is drained by the north-eastern Little Pelican Lake to the south adjacent Lake Lizzie from the Pelican River. The Pelican Lake is located in the catchment area of ​​the Otter Tail River, a source flow of the Red River of the North. The 16 km ² big lake located at an altitude of 402 m.

The lake is heavily used for recreational activities. In Lake Walleye, pike, muskellunge and the sun Lepomis macrochirus chart bars occur.
