The Pelican River is a river in Becker County and Otter Tail County in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

The Pelican River rises north of Detroit Lakes. It flows mainly in the south. Here it flows through a series of lakes, including Detroit Lake, Lake Sallie, Lake Melissa, Pelican Lake, Lake Lizzie and Prairie Lake. The Pelican River finally flows west of Fergus Falls in Otter Tail River.
