Heinolan Peliitat is a Finnish professional ice hockey club was established in 1983 in Heinola. The team plays in the Mestis and wearing their home games in the Versowood Areena from.

History

The club was founded in 1983 as Heinolan Peliitat. Six years later, the team changed its name to Heinolan Kiekko ( HeKi ) before you in 2011 returned to the original name. The team participated in the 1983/84 season the game operating in the I- divisioona, the then second highest Finnish league on. In this, the first team was able to establish, before she dismounted as Table in the 1986/87 season. After the direct re-emergence from the team went into the 1988/89 season again in the third class II - divisioona.

As of the 2000 /01 season HeKi participated in the new third division, the Suomi- sarja, in part. Since 2006, the team played continuously in the sub-prime Mestis.
