Peñalara

The Peñalara is at an altitude of 2,430 meters the highest peak in the Sierra de Guadarrama. This in turn is part of the Iberian vagina Mountains, located in the center of Spain and the Iberian Peninsula cuts.

The eastern part of the mountain is located in the municipality of Rascafría in the Autonomous Community of Madrid. Its western part is in the Valsaín Valley in the province of Segovia.
