Peng Shuzhi

Peng Shuzhi (also: Peng Shu- tse, Chinese: Peng Shuzhi彭 述 之; born November 27, 1895 in Yanggu'ao, China, † November 28, 1983 in the U.S.) was a leading member of the Communist Party of China and became a Trotskyist.

Biography

Peng studied in Moscow. After his return to China, he became a member of the CPC Central Committee, headed the propaganda work of the party and gave her magazine during the revolution of 1925-1927 out. In November 1929 he was expelled from the party because of the support of Trotskyism together with Chen Duxiu. Later, he lived in exile in Los Angeles ( California).
