Pengzhou

The Pengzhou City (Chinese彭 州市) is a county-level city in China, about 35 km north-west of the sub- provincial city of Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, and west of Deyang. It has an area of 1,420 km ² and has about 780,000 inhabitants.

Its attractions include the listed since 2006 annuntiationis Seminary, which however has been largely destroyed by the severe earthquake in Wenchuan 2008, and also listed pagodas of Pengzhou (彭州 佛塔, Pengzhou Fota ).

The "Mountain of Immortals Ge "葛仙 山, Gexian Shan is an important place of religious Daoism.

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, Pengzhou is composed of twenty large communities.
