Perafita is a Portuguese small town in the concelho Matosinhos.

The municipality ( Freguesia ) is in the north of the county area. It extends from the coast of the Atlantic Ocean about four miles inland. On 9 December 2004 it was raised to Vila.

President of the Junta de Freguesia is Rui Miguel Coelho Lopes (PS).
