Perfect Records

Perfect Records was an American record label of the 1920s and 1930s and was from 1929 to the American Record Corporation.

History

Perfect Records was introduced by the French record label Pathé Records for the U.S. market. In contrast to most of the time records Perfect plates were prepared with reddish shellac. 1927 a series for the UK market was created for a short time, published the photographs of the American and French Pathé label. The UK releases have included a few exceptions, especially so-called " dance music " and jazz

From 1929 Perfect belonged to the American Record Company ( ARC), resulting from the merger of various American labels - arose - among them Pathé. ARC produced with the label until 1938 also sheets.
