Pernille Harder (Badminton)

Pernille Harder (born 3 September 1977) is a badminton player from Malling, Denmark.

Career

Pernille Harder began her career at Højbjerg Badminton Club. Later they moved to the Kastrup Magleby BK in the Danish first division. For several years she was one of the best European doubles and mixed players and may have the largest successes in women's doubles with Mette Schjoldager the Vice European Champion title in 2002 and the European Championship bronze medal in 2004. With the Danish national team, it was 2002 and 2004 European champion, won the Uber Cup 2000 silver and 2004 bronze and 2005 reached the Sudirman Cup third place. At the 2004 Olympics in Athens, she failed with Mette Schjoldager in the second round of the later bronze medal winners Ra Kyung -min and Lee Kyung -won of South Korea. In 2000, she won with Jane F. Bramsen the women's doubles of the Swedish Open, 2004 together with Helle Nielsen, the Irish Open.
