Perrott Lyon Timlock & Kesa

Perrott Lyon Timlock & Kesa is an Australian architectural firm. 1973 won for the MMBW House an architectural prize, awarded by the State of Victoria.

History

Perrott Lyon Timlock & Kesa emerged from the architects Leslie M. Perrott & Associates. This Leslie M. Perrot senior had founded and set out in the period between the world wars by the construction of new large hotels in Melbourne a name. These buildings were the Alexander Hotel (1929 ), the chevron (1934 ) and the Hotel Australia ( 1939). Perrot's son joined after completing his studies in 1951 in the office, 1952 was added Ronald Grant Lyon. This had experiences in the Corps of Engineers collected and worked after the war in London for Maxwell Fry and Jane Drew. Lyon married in 1954 Marietta Perrot, daughter of the older Perrot, who worked as a draftsman in the architectural office. 1971, the name of the architectural firm Perrott in, Lyon, Timlock and Kesa has changed.
