Peter Grütter

Peter Grütter (* June 30, 1942 in Bern ) is a former Swiss figure skater and now works as a figure skating coach.

Biography

Peter Grütter was coached by Jacques Gerschwiler. He took part in the 1964 Winter Olympics and was 24th in the same year he ended his active career and was later figure skating coach. In this position, he coached successfully his compatriot Stephane Lambiel from 1995 to 2008 and led him to two World Cup titles and three European Vice Champion titles and the Olympic silver medal win in Turin in 2006. Promoted to Vice - European Champion title, he helped in 2009 and his protégé Samuel Contesti at the European Championships in Helsinki.
