Peter Vogel (actor)
Peter Vogel ( born March 22, 1937 in Munich, † 21 September 1978 in Vienna ) was a German actor.
Peter Vogel is the son of actor Rudolf Vogel. His acting career began at age 17 when he played one of the students in The Flying Classroom. As a theater actor, he moved from Hamburg to the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, where he also directed.
His last film role he played in the American television series Holocaust - The Story of the White family.
He was married to Gertraud Jesserer and was the father of Michael and Nikolas Vogel. After the separation, until shortly before his suicide with pentazocine, he was romantically involved with Erika Pluhar. He was on the old Bogenhausener cemetery with his parents buried ( grave wall on the left No. 46).
