Gertraud Jesserer

Gertraud Jesserer ( born December 13, 1943 in Vienna) is a film and actress castle in Vienna with an extensive, varied repertoire.

Life and work

Despite intermittent training at the Max -Reinhardt-Seminar Jesserer got the age of 15, a small movie role alongside Romy Schneider and debuted in Molnár's Liliom at the Josefstadt, whose ensemble she belonged until 1969. After four years at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, she returned to Vienna, and is a member of the Burgtheater since 1974. She was married to actor Peter Vogel and has two children. Her son Nikolas Vogel died in June 1991 during a bombing as a war correspondent (camera) at the airport in Ljubljana ( jointly with Norbert Werner).
