Petersfield
Petersfield is a town with about 15,000 inhabitants north of the South Downs in Hampshire.
History
The town was founded in the late 11th century. The expert of Agriculture John Worlidge that the book Systema Agriculturae wrote in 1669, lived in this place.
Twinning
With the German town of Warendorf and the French city of Barentin Petersfield has twinning.
Attractions
Petersfield is home to the first Teddy Bear Museum in the world. In the vicinity is the Chithurst Buddhist Monastery, a Buddhist monastery.
