Philip I, Count of Waldeck

Philip I (* 1445, † 1475 ) was in 1475, Count of Waldeck Waldeck.

He was the son of Count Wolrad I and his wife Barbara of Wertheim. He married Johanna of Nassau- Dillenburg 1464. From the marriage of the son Henry emerged.

After the death of his father Philip succeeded him as Count of Waldeck Waldeck line. Since he died later in the same year, Philip was prevented from setting their own political accents.
