The Philipp-Reis -Schule ( PRS) is next to the Rhein- Main International Montessori School ( RIMS) is one of two secondary schools in Friedrichsdorf. History

Foundation of the school

On 1 May 1836, the current Philipp-Reis- school was founded by Louis Frédéric Garnier, the French name " Maison d' Education à Friedrichsdorf, près Homburg -ès -Monts " (on a German " House of Education in Friedrichsdorf, next Homburg ").
