Philippe Rochat

Philippe Rochat ( born November 29, 1953 in Le Chenit ) is a Swiss chef.

Rochat was cooking in the Restaurant de l' Hôtel de Ville in Crissier near Lausanne, which he took over in 1996 by Frédy Girardet. His restaurant is excellent since 1997 with three Michelin stars. In addition, Rochat had 19 points in the Gault Millau.

In April 2012, he handed over his restaurant to his successor Benoît Violier, who works in the kitchen Rochats since 1996.

After the handover Rochat remains but continue on the Board of the restaurant operates.

Rochat is the widower of the long distance runner Franziska Rochat -Moser.
