Philostephanus
Philostephanos of Cyrene (Latin: Philo Stephen, in older literature sometimes Polystephanus; * in Cyrene ) was a Greek poet and historian of the 3rd century BC He was a friend or pupil of Callimachus and probably lived mainly in Alexandria.
Of his works, only fragments survive, including many scholiasts and lexicographers.
